On Holiday

Had a really nice holiday down home in Newton Stewart a couple of weeks ago. Hadn't been feeling too good the week before, so just took it easy, but built up to 15 miles. Unfortunately not done much since. On the last day of my holiday dad, who had been a bit of a strange color, was taken into hospital. Not a great way to spend the first week of his 80th year!! Turned out to be a stone in his bile duct. Thankfully he is now home, after a few days staying with my sister, and nearly back to his normal color, rather than a rather worrying "Homer Simpson" yellow. Got a reminder in to go for a follow up smear test, so got that to look forwards to on the 5th of November - NOT!!! Ah well, a wee vodka and coke and then off to bed me thinks!!
